BLS FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS

BLS FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS

The BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR, formerly know as HCP (Health Care Provider) is intended for health care workers and first responders. It focuses on building confidence and competence to ensure high performance CPR from high performance teams.

It teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Recertification is available only for Red Cross certificate holders, when certificates are full certification (not recertification) and not expired.
