This comprehensive course offers first aid training for medical emergencies in marine settings. Learners will gain in-depth knowledge of CPR, AED use, wound management, fractures, shock evacuation procedures, and more. Through a combination of theoretical
learning, hands-on practice, and real-life scenarios, participants develop the confidence and expertise needed to manage medical emergencies at sea.
This course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E.
Typically, this certification is used by people working for the Coast Guard, or within water-based tourism industry. It is the ideal course for someone designated to provide first aid on board a vessel engaged on a near coastal voyage, class 1, or unlimited voyage. Participants who want to obtain a master or officer certificate or endorsement.
Recertification is not permitted under Federal Guidelines.

This course is designed to meet the needs of those expected to provide first aid in a marine environment.
Yes, this course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E.
Upon successful completion of this course, you’ll be issued a Marine Basic First Aid certificate and a Transport Canada certification issued directly by the Canadian Red Cross.
No, all accredited First Aid and CPR courses require in-person attendance to practice hands-on skills.
Avoid disappointment and financial loss by registering into a course approved federally and provincially.
Participants in our courses are certified through the Canadian Red Cross.
Recertification of Marine Basic or Advance First Aid is not permitted under Federal Regulations.

For advances, including the Marine Advance First Aid course, refund or reschedule with more than 5 days notice is eligible for a full refund less a $75 administrative fee.

COURSE CONTENT
Successful participants will receive a Red Cross Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certificate recognizing their training, valid for 3 years.
