CPR is an annual requirement for employees in the dental field and physical trainers. It is also a great general interest course and refresher on emergency intervention practices. Students will learn CPR, choking, and AED procedures so they may assist in emergency situations until medical aid arrives.
Successful candidates will receive a Red Cross CPR-C, and AED certificate recognizing their training, valid for 1 year.
Health and Safety Training continues to be considered an essential service. We host safe, fun courses with modified skills assessments that allow for social distancing.
With all BLENDED training, participants must complete the online component prior to the in-class session. There are about 2 hours of online theory prior to this CPR class. Participants who do not complete the online component will not be able to attend the in-class session.
An administrative fee of $25 will apply to re-schedule or cancel courses with 72+ hours’ notice.
Participants who do not complete the online course prior to class, and who have not rescheduled with 72+ hours notice, will be required to register and pay for another course.
13 First Aid hosts monthly courses in collaboration with ontrac in Arnprior and Renfrew, helping to provide top-notch employment services.
BLENDED courses require completion of about 2 hours of online theory prior to the beginning of class.
RECERT is for attendees who have a full Red Cross CPR full certification (not recertification), and the course recertification course must occur while the original certification is valid.
