This course focuses on hands-on skills, including performing CPR, and use of the AED. Through scenarios and activities, participants will also review minor injuries including muscle, bone, joint and spinal injuries.
Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
Recertification is available for valid certificate holders, when certificates are full certification (not recertification).

The Red Cross Intermediate/Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED Recertification course is designed to help currently certified first aiders renew their certification while saving both time and money.
This nationally recognized certification meets federal guidelines, provincial and territorial worker safety and insurance board requirements, and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

No, all accredited First Aid and CPR courses include an in-person skills component.

Participants in our courses are certified through the Canadian Red Cross.
Recertification can save you time and money. In order to recertify, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be the holder of a valid certificate from either the Canadian Red Cross or other nationally recognized training organization.
- The certificate must not be expired
- The certificate must be a full course, and not a recertification.
