First aid is the immediate care given to someone who is injured or suddenly becomes ill, before professional medical help arrives. It can include simple treatments like cleaning minor cuts to more complex interventions like CPR or slowing heavy bleeding.
Yes! 13 First Aid and Safety Training is proud to be a Canadian Red Cross training partner. All of the courses we offer are certified through the Canadian Red Cross. This means our certifications are recognized nationally, and meet WSIB / provincial guidelines.
Yes, because we are a Canadian Red Cross accredited training partner, our courses meet the WSIB guidelines for workplace First Aid & CPR-C, and AED training.
We sure do! We offer onsite or private training for workplaces, community groups, educational institutions, and more! If you’re interested in learning more about organizing a private or onsite training session, send us an email at info@13firstaid.com.
Your certificate will be emailed to you by the Canadian Red Cross within 3 business days after you have completed your in-class training. All Canadian Red Cross training certifications are provided digitally via the email provided on your registration.
