EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER RECERTIFICATION TRAINING

EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER RECERTIFICATION

The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Recertification course is only available to participants with valid, non-recertified Red Cross EMR certificates.

Participants will review and demonstrate all knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate patient assessments, interventions, and ongoing care, including the transportation of a patient to a healthcare facility. This course follows the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) as defined by the Paramedic Association of Canada, and is the first level of training recognized by the NOCP.

Successful participants will receive a Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder Recertification certification recognizing their training. It is valid for 3 years.

Recertification is not available for recertified courses.  Once this course has expired, students will need to complete the full EMR course.

If you are unsure if this is the right course for you, contact us.  See other courses here.
